To reclaim a position of leadership, Red Hat had to get back to its roots: promoting the ideals of open source. With our recommendation, Red Hat established a community, opensource.com, to evangelize the benefits of open source thinking across sectors. Through analysis of current open source conversations taking place online, a series of client worksessions and the identification of ideal content contributors and distributors, we helped develop a roadmap for growing traffic to over 1,000,000 monthly views which has reestablished Red Hat as the true open source leader and has aided Red Hat in its recent accomplishment of becoming the world’s first billion-dollar open source brand.
